Areas of Research

     The Mobile Information and Network Technologies Research Centre conducts leading research on the application of emerging wireless technologies to healthcare systems by addressing areas of research such as medical quality of service, bio-communication systems, network security in m-health,  and 4G technologies for healthcare. Working in this innovative engineering environment, MINT aims to bring together Clinicians, Engineers, and Scientists at the forefront of information and communication technologies for medicine and solutions to perplexing health care problems.

Prof  Istepanian on the Technical Program Committee of the 5th International Conference on Information Technology and Applications in Biomedicine (ITAB 08), in conjunction with the 2nd International Symposium & Summer School on Biomedical and Health Engineering (IS3BHE 08), which will be jointly held in Shenzhen, China on 30-31 May 2008.
